Code of Conduct Circular Economy

CODE OF CONDUCT CE

DESIGN FOR BUSINESS IN THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Context

Circular economy is preferably an open system & innovation approach. This means that circumstantial learning is the aim (learning by doing, learning by rethinking and learning by nature). These intentions in the way of working and cooperation are pinpointed in this Code of Conduct. It is an instrument for all involved in the development of circular economy and new business models, redesign of products and services. Free for use, of course!

OPEN INNOVATION

  • Sharing ideas, knowledge and experiences is expected from all
  • Collective ideas are open for the collective, for all
  • Individual ideas are to be respected and acknowledged
  • Sharing is active, so based on participation of all

KNOWLEDGE BASED

  • Shared knowledge is intended for use by all, collective and individual
  • Scientific knowledge needs respect and will always have good references when used
  • Respect your sources and share results of research
  • Research: keep to scientific standards if needed/possible

COOPERATIVE INTENTIONS

  • Acquisitions should be found in the public domain
  • The quality of our “body of knowledge” is based on building together
  • Be open sourced (through reflection and interaction, learning gains quality)
  • Be partner of/in learning network(s)
  • Share knowledge for growing network(s) of involved parties

OWNERSHIP

  • Respect people’s efforts in enhancing the “body of knowledge”
  • Give credits to the one who earns them
  • Intellectual ownership is to be respected

Growth of quality

Circular economy is an open and living system approach, aimed at creation of a resilient economic system that is restorative and creates value without loss. Interdependencies and interactions are essential for the quality of the system. Growth is based on the growing conditions and the willingness to cooperate!
